People mix up three numbers: how many questions are published, how many the officer asks, and how many correct answers you need. They are not the same number.

2025

Study 128. The officer asks up to 20. Pass with 12 correct. The test stops at 12 correct or at 9 incorrect.

2008

Study 100. The officer asks up to 10. Pass with 6 correct. The test stops at 6 correct or at 5 incorrect.

65/20

If you qualify, you study 20 starred questions from the version that matches your filing date. The officer asks 10. You need 6 correct. That shorter list is not available just because someone is nervous about the longer one.
